Adding Accounts
Hit the floating action button to add new account
Scan QR code from service or enter secret key manually
Account details auto-fill. Verify issuer and account name.
Entry is saved and codes start generating immediately
Code Types
TOTP (Time-based)
Codes change every 30 seconds. Most common type used by Google, Microsoft, GitHub, and most services.
HOTP (Counter-based)
Codes change with each use. Less common, used by some enterprise systems.

- SHA1 (default, most services)

- 6 digits (most common)
- 8 digits (some services)
Period (TOTP)
- 30 seconds (default)
- 60 seconds (some services)
- Custom periods supported
Time Offset
- Adjust for clock sync issues
- Fix codes that don't work
- Usually not needed
Organization
Folders
Create folders in settings. Assign entries to folders. Filter by folder in main view.
Favorites
Tap favorite icon on entries. Favorites appear at top. Quick access to most-used codes.
Search
Search by issuer or account name. Real-time filtering as you type.
Sorting
Sort by name, date added, or most recently used.
Backup & Export
Export Entries
Backup authenticator entries to file. Can import into other apps or restore later.
QR Code Export
Export as QR codes for easy migration. Scan with another device or app.
Import
Import from backups or other authenticator apps. Supports standard formats.
Troubleshooting
Codes Not Working
- Check device time is correct
- Verify secret key entered correctly
- Check algorithm matches service
- Try adjusting time offset
Time Sync Issues
- Enable automatic time sync
- Check device time is accurate
- Adjust time offset in entry settings
- Services allow small time window
QR Code Won't Scan
- Grant camera permission
- Ensure good lighting
- Hold camera steady
- Try manual entry instead
Lost Entry
- Check if you have backup
- Restore from backup if available
- If no backup, set up 2FA again with service
- Always keep backups
