View Modes

List View

Compact list showing names, sizes, dates. Best for browsing many files.

Compact View

Medium-sized list with icons. Balanced view for most use cases.

Grid View

Large icons in grid layout. Best for images. Adjustable tile sizes.

File Operations

Copy & Move

Select files, tap Copy/Move, navigate to destination, tap Paste. Clipboard persists across navigation.

Delete

Select files and tap Delete. Files move to trash if enabled, or delete permanently.

Rename

Long-press item, select Rename, enter new name, confirm.

Create Folder

Tap floating action button (FAB) to create new folder in current directory.

Security Features

File Encryption

Encrypt selected files for secure storage. Encrypted files require password to decrypt.

Secure Lock

Enable PIN or biometric lock for File Manager. Must authenticate before accessing files.

Network Sharing

Share files over local network or access network shares and servers.

Favorites

Mark frequently accessed files/folders as favorites for quick access.

Troubleshooting

Can't Access Folder

  • Check storage permissions
  • On Android 11+, grant folder access via SAF
  • Verify folder isn't system-protected
  • Try accessing as root/Stealth Service

Files Not Showing

  • Check if filter is active
  • Enable "Show Hidden Files" in settings
  • Pull down to refresh folder
  • Check storage permissions

Slow Performance

  • Clear thumbnail cache in settings
  • Switch to List view for large folders
  • Disable thumbnails in settings
  • Check available storage space

Can't Delete Files

  • Check if file is in use
  • Verify write permissions
  • Try with root/Stealth Service access
  • Close apps using the file
