Security Checks

When the scanned payload is a URL, Stealth runs a set of local heuristics before letting you open it. The result is shown on a preview card with a verdict, the destination, and an Open / Cancel choice.

Redirect & Shortener Detection

Flags URL shorteners and unwraps simple HTTP redirects so the destination domain is what you actually see.

Phishing Heuristics

Looks for phishing keywords in the URL (login, verify, account, security, etc.) combined with suspicious URL patterns.

Risky TLD Warning

Highlights URLs on TLDs that are statistically over-represented in spam and malware.

TLS Probe

Checks that the destination presents a valid TLS certificate before recommending you visit it.

URL Preview

For benign URLs, Stealth fetches the page title and Open Graph image so you can see what site you are about to open.

All checks run on-device against URL structure plus a one-shot fetch of the destination headers. There is no Google Safe Browsing or third-party malware database call.

Code Not Detected

  • Check code isn't damaged
  • Ensure code is in focus
  • Try different angles
  • Use flashlight in dark
  • Code may be too small/low quality

URL Won't Open

  • Check internet connection
  • Verify URL is valid
  • Check if flagged as unsafe
  • Try copying and opening manually
  • May require specific apps
