StealthADB Service

StealthADB Service provides ADB-level system access without root, enabling advanced features like system app control, WiFi/Bluetooth toggles, and shell command execution.

What is StealthADB Service?

StealthADB Service is a system service that runs with ADB (Android Debug Bridge) privileges, giving Stealth elevated permissions without requiring root access. This unlocks powerful capabilities that normally require root or Device Owner mode.

System App Control

Clear cache and manage system applications that normally require elevated permissions.

System Settings

Toggle WiFi, Bluetooth, mobile data, and other system settings programmatically.

Shell Commands

Execute ADB shell commands directly from Stealth for advanced automation.

Network Monitoring

Access detailed network statistics and connection information.

Setup Instructions

1
Download StealthADB Service

Open any tool that requires StealthADB Service (Apps Manager, Macro, Network Monitor, etc.) and tap the "Download StealthADB Service" button in settings.

2
Install the APK

Allow installation from unknown sources if prompted, then install the StealthADB Service APK.

3
Enable Wireless Debugging

Go to Android Settings → Developer Options → Wireless Debugging and enable it. Tap "Pair device with pairing code" if needed.

4
Start StealthADB Service

Open the StealthADB Service app and tap "Start" to begin the service. Keep it running in the background.

5
Grant Permission

Return to Stealth and tap "Grant StealthADB Service Permission" in the tool's settings. Approve the permission request.

Pro Tip: StealthADB Service needs to stay running. If your device kills background apps aggressively, add StealthADB Service to your battery optimization whitelist.

Enabling Developer Options

If you don't see Developer Options in your Android Settings, you need to enable it first:

  1. Open Android Settings
  2. Go to "About phone"
  3. Find "Build number"
  4. Tap it 7 times rapidly
  5. Enter your PIN/password if prompted
  6. Developer Options will now appear in Settings

Troubleshooting

Service Won't Start

  • Enable Wireless Debugging in Developer Options
  • Make sure Developer Options is enabled
  • Restart your device and try again
  • Check if another ADB service is running

Permission Denied

  • Ensure StealthADB Service is running
  • Grant permission from within Stealth
  • Restart StealthADB Service if needed
  • Check Wireless Debugging is still enabled

Service Keeps Stopping

  • Disable battery optimization for StealthADB Service
  • Add to "Don't kill" list in your device settings
  • Keep Wireless Debugging enabled
  • Some devices aggressively kill background services

Can't Find Developer Options

  • Go to Settings → About phone
  • Tap "Build number" 7 times
  • Enter PIN/password when prompted
  • Developer Options will appear in Settings
Important: StealthADB Service requires Wireless Debugging to remain enabled. If you disable it, the service will stop working until you re-enable it and restart the service.

Battery & Resource Impact

StealthADB Service stays idle until Stealth asks it to run a command. Background cost is dominated by Android keeping the ADB-paired socket alive (with Wireless Debugging on). Real-world impact varies by device and OEM aggressiveness, but the service itself does not poll, sync, or talk to the network on its own.

Security & Privacy

StealthADB Service is FATAL's companion app for Wireless Debugging pairing. It holds ADB-level capability on your device and only exposes that access to apps you approve in the StealthADB Service manager.

  • Access is tied to the StealthADB Service process. Revoke Stealth or any other client anytime from the StealthADB Service app.
  • It does not initiate network traffic on its own.
  • It cannot modify the system partition or anything that requires real root.
  • Apps you have not authorized cannot use it to gain elevated capability.

Everything runs locally on your device. StealthADB Service only acts when an authorized app like Stealth sends a request.

Need more control? For features like freezing and hiding apps, consider setting up Device Owner mode instead.
