Stealth Transfer

Stealth Transfer for Android sends files to another Stealth user using a short transfer key. Pick files, hand the recipient your key, they accept the transfer, and the files land on their device. No accounts, no email, no public links.

Quick Start

1
Open Stealth Tools

Tap More on the VPN home screen tool bar

2
Open Stealth Transfer

Select Stealth Transfer from the tools sheet

3
Configure settings

Tap the settings gear, then enable Auto-Accept Transfers or set your download folder

4
Send files

On the Send tab, enter the recipient key, add files, and tap Send Transfer

How It Works

  1. Stealth generates (or reuses) a short alphanumeric transfer key for your device.
  2. The recipient enters that key in their Stealth Transfer screen.
  3. You select the files you want to send and tap Send. Files upload to the Stealth Transfer relay over HTTPS.
  4. The recipient gets an incoming-transfer notification and either accepts or declines.
  5. Accepted files download to the recipient's chosen folder.

The server holds unaccepted files for up to about 30 minutes and then drops them.

Sending Files

  • Pick files from internal storage, SD card, photos, downloads, or any Storage Access Framework provider
  • Optional message attached to the transfer that the recipient sees in the prompt
  • Files are sent over HTTPS so the carrier or local network cannot read them in transit

Multi-file transfers send each picked file as its own staged upload. Folder selection follows whatever the system file picker lets you choose.

Receiving Files

  • Tap Check for Files to poll the server immediately
  • The Stealth Transfer Listener foreground service polls for incoming transfers in the background
  • Auto-accept toggle for transfers from your other linked Stealth devices
  • Notifications when a new transfer is waiting

Sharing With Other Apps

Stealth Transfer is registered as an Android Share target. From any app (Photos, Files, Browse, etc.) tap Share → Stealth Transfer to attach the selected items to a new outgoing transfer.

Why Use Stealth Transfer

No public link. The recipient needs your short key, not a URL anyone can guess.

HTTPS in transit. Carrier and local-network observers see only TLS to the Stealth Transfer server.

Cross-device. Auto-accept from your own other Stealth devices gives you a one-tap "send this to my PC" path.
