Home Screen Customization

Personalize your browser's home page with custom shortcuts, widgets, and layouts.

Overview

The Stealth Browse home screen is your starting point for browsing. Customize it to show your most-used sites, search bar, and helpful widgets.

Accessing Customization

  1. Go to Settings → Home Screen → Customize Home Screen
  2. Or long-press on the home screen background
  3. The Home Customization Activity opens with all options

Features

Quick Shortcuts

Add your favorite websites as shortcuts on the home screen for one-tap access.

  • Add up to 12 shortcuts
  • Custom icons (fetches site favicon)
  • Rename shortcuts
  • Rearrange by drag-and-drop
  • Delete unused shortcuts

Search Bar

Configure the home screen search bar:

  • Show/hide search bar
  • Choose default search engine
  • Enable voice search
  • Search bar position (top/center)

Background

Customize the home screen background:

  • Solid colors
  • Gradient themes
  • Custom image from gallery
  • Daily rotating backgrounds

Widgets

Add informational widgets to your home screen:

  • Clock/Date - Current time and date
  • Weather - Local weather conditions
  • News Headlines - Latest news from RSS feeds
  • Bookmarks - Recent bookmarks
  • History - Recently visited sites

Layout Options

  • Grid Size: 3x4, 4x5, or 5x6 icons
  • Icon Size: Small, Medium, Large
  • Show Labels: Display site names under icons
  • Spacing: Compact or comfortable spacing

Tips

  • Long-press any shortcut to edit or delete it
  • Drag shortcuts to rearrange them
  • The search bar supports voice input if enabled
  • Home screen state syncs with backups
