Ad & Tracker Blocking
The built-in ad blocker uses multiple filter lists and techniques to block intrusive ads and tracking scripts:
EasyList
The most popular ad-blocking filter list, blocking ads on thousands of websites worldwide.
EasyPrivacy
Blocks tracking scripts, web bugs, and data collectors that follow you across websites.
Malware Domains
Blocks known malware distribution domains to prevent drive-by downloads.
Enterprise Sync
Syncs with FATAL admin panel for additional enterprise-managed blocklists.
How It Works
Every network request is checked against the blocklist before loading.
The request URL is compared against thousands of known ad and tracker domains.
URL patterns are analyzed to catch ads that use dynamic domains.
Any ad elements that slip through are hidden using CSS selectors.
Statistics
The ad blocker tracks statistics so you can see how much it's protecting you:
- Blocked Domains: Total number of domains in the blocklist
- Session Blocked: Requests blocked in the current browsing session
- Total Blocked: All-time count of blocked requests
- Last Sync: When the blocklist was last updated from the server
HTTPS-Only Mode
Forces all connections to use secure HTTPS protocol when available.
Automatic Upgrade
HTTP URLs are automatically upgraded to HTTPS when the site supports it.
Warning on Insecure
Shows a warning when visiting sites that don't support HTTPS.
Encryption Enforced
Prevents eavesdropping on your browsing by requiring encryption.
MITM Protection
Helps prevent man-in-the-middle attacks by requiring valid certificates.
Fingerprint Protection
Browser fingerprinting is a technique used to identify you based on your browser's unique characteristics. Stealth Browse protects against multiple fingerprinting methods:
Canvas Fingerprinting
Adds subtle noise to canvas rendering, making your fingerprint different each time.
WebGL Fingerprinting
Masks WebGL renderer and vendor information that can identify your graphics hardware.
Audio Fingerprinting
Protects against AudioContext fingerprinting techniques.
Font Fingerprinting
Limits font enumeration to prevent identification via installed fonts.
Script Blocking
For maximum security, you can completely block JavaScript execution on websites.
When script blocking is enabled:
- No JavaScript will execute on pages
- Most trackers will be completely disabled
