Device Posture

Device Posture scores how well Windows is hardened and offers remediation for each failing check. It lives inside Stealth Firewall under Device Posture.

What it scores

Device Posture computes a weighted security score based on Microsoft baseline checks: Defender real-time protection, signature freshness, Tamper Protection, BitLocker on the system drive, Windows Firewall on all profiles, LSA Protection (RunAsPPL), elevation status, UAC consent prompt level, and SMBv1 state.

How to use it

  • Each failing check exposes a one-click remediation that runs as administrator
  • Some fixes require a reboot; that is called out per check
  • The score gates VPN connect / vault unlock if you raise the threshold elsewhere
  • Re-run Checks at any time after applying changes outside Stealth

Where it lives

Device Posture is a view inside the Stealth Firewall window (sidebar > Device Posture). This shortcut opens the firewall and switches directly to that view.
