Stealth Social
BETA PowerUp. Feed, blog, and messages inside Stealth Browse. Sign in on any PC running Stealth Browse to use the same account.
Turn it on and open it
Settings → Power Ups. Add Stealth Social, or confirm Full Power.
Toolbar Social button, PowerUp settings → Open, ghost icon set to Social, or go to stealth://social (stealth://stealth-social works too).
Username is 3 to 24 characters. Password is 8 or more. Create account checks whether the name is free. Sign in uses the same username on any Stealth Browse Windows install.
Sign out on this device only. The account stays on the network. The next PC still needs the username and password.
The window
| Feed | Posts from people you Shadow. Composer at the top. Empty until you Shadow someone. Load more fetches the next page. |
| Featured | People who chose to be seen. The lineup rotates so nobody stays on top. |
| Messages | Direct threads. Unread count on the Messages tab. Start a thread with @username. Open threads refresh every 8 seconds while you stay on Messages. |
| Blog | Long-form pieces with a title. Same media and reactions as posts. |
| Find | Magnifier in the mast. Search by name or @username. |
| You | Click your name for your public profile. The gear opens Account: username, bio, portrait, privacy, password, sign out. |
Posts, blogs, and media
| Post | Up to 4,000 characters. Thumbs up, thumbs down, comments (up to 2,000 characters). Edit or delete your own. |
| Blog | Title up to 200 characters. Body up to 100,000 characters. |
| Photos and video | JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, MP4, WebM. Up to 8 files. Stills up to 32 MB. Video up to 200 MB. Click a still to open it full size. |
| Links | Posted URLs become clickable. A preview card can appear. You can remove the preview on your own post. |
Shadow and privacy
Shadow is how you follow someone. Their posts land in your Feed. On a profile you can Shadow, see Requested if they must approve you, or Shadowing if you already do. Counts show Shadows and Shadowing.
| Show me on Featured | Opt in. The order still rotates. |
| Hide from Featured and search | People who already Shadow you can still find you. Private profile turns this on too. |
| Private profile | Only people who already Shadow you see posts, blogs, and bio. |
| Approve shadows | Off by default, so anyone can Shadow you. On, new people wait in Shadow requests until you approve or deny. |
Other profiles have Posts, Media, and Blogs tabs, plus Message. Your theme in Stealth Browse (Dark, Light, Stealth Purple, glass, float) applies to this page. Ctrl+wheel zooms Stealth Social from 50% to 150% (starts at 80%).
StealthAI can enable, disable, or open Stealth Social.
